We are now hiring a Process Engineer.

 

Your role

As a Process Engineer you will be responsible for co-ordinating the implementation of production processes and equipment in new projects, ensuring process stability, quality, safety, timely SOPs and smooth production ramp-ups. Your duties will include, among other things:

  • Participate in the development of technical requirements and specifications for new machinery and equipment.
  • Perform pre-studies and investment calculations for major installations.
  • Take ownership of activities and lead the activities in a project-based environment.
  • Participate in Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA). Drive the Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA).
  • Create specifications for prototype equipment, including CAD-drawings.
  • Prepare and take part in trial-runs and put new or developed products into production.
  • Cooperate with Purchasing Department in the offer-, ordering- and purchasing phases of equipment.
  • Support to develop process parameters and initial operator instructions for new or changed equipment.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a relevant engineering degree. You have a background of several years within a technical role in the manufacturing industry.
In this role you need to have strong interpersonal and communication skills. You are solution-focused and can create trust and collaborate with various stakeholders, both within and outside the company. You work in a methodical and structured manner but can still re-prioritize and be flexible as the situations evolve. You are analytical, have high integrity and a good judgment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor/master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Demonstrated successful experience in mechanical engineering and production process development. Experience with heat exchanger technology is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience of FMEA and PFMEA.
  • Good experience of working in projects and taking ownership of the activities.
  • Good knowledge in working with 3D-Cad systems and technical drawings.
  • Experience and knowledge of Lean Production.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Professional level of Swedish and English.
